Educational Campaigns: To increase public awareness of the value of maintaining and comprehending the nation’s language and history, produce and disseminate educational materials such as booklets, posters, and social media content. Engage in cultural events that showcase your country’s history and cultural heritage, such as storytelling sessions, music concerts, and traditional dances. You can also host such events.

– Ms. Molson
As a BSSW student I can participate or contribute to the celebration of the national language and history month through; first in creating a poster or post Social Media content featuring the historical event, the hero or the history of our Language at the same time,i can also invite or encourage my friends to do the same activities using social media to reveal the things that happened or in the history of our national language, through this activity will explain to the majority what is the importance of this celebration, why is it celebrated and what is its importance to the lives of those who are part of our precious country. Secondly I can also promote any local art and cultures related to our language and history through cultural presentations or simple exhibits, thirdly I can also research and make research articles or essays about important aspects of the national language and history that I can share with others or my fellow Filipinos in this celebration. And lastly, I know that this is the best thing I can do is to support any school activity, join or help in any educational activity such as contests, exhibits and programs that will highlight the language and history of our country. As a student we give the most impact to our society , so that let’s do the best that we have to do to support our country in whatever celebration we’re having and as a student I believe to what Jose Rizal said, “Kung hindi ko sasamantalahin Ang bawat sandali at oras , darating Ang bukas na walang ibang kaawa -awa kundi ako rin .So whatever I can do and Best to do I will do to help and support our country. Thank you po! – Ms, Nabos

As a Bachelor of Arts in Communication student, I have many ways to contribute or take part in celebrating National Language and History Month. I could use my research and writing skills to write a paper on the importance of language and history in my community or in my country. My communication skills can be put to use by communicating the importance of language and history to the public through social media or public speaking. I could also participate in events and activities that celebrate language and history. For example, I could attend screenings of movies, theater performances, or museum exhibits that highlight the contributions of my ethnic group or country.
Another way I could contribute is by volunteering with organizations that aim to promote cultural diversity and heritage through language and history education. I could teach language or history classes to children from marginalized communities, or help with the preservation of archival material related to my ethnic group or country. I could also create awareness campaigns that encourage people to explore and learn more about their language and history, through online campaigns or social media events. I could also collaborate with others and form partnerships with organizations that share the same interest in celebrating language and history.
I believe that as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication student, it’s important for me to use my skills and knowledge to contribute to things I care about, and to promote the celebration of language and history in my community and beyond. As BAC student on how can I contribute or take a part in celebration of National Language and History Month,First this celebration is very important to our culture specially here in Marinduque Philippines because they can a provide for us with a concrete in our understanding in province with our culture practices.Being a student Filipino BAC student we can be the the part of this celebration activities in a way of participating for example here at Marinduque we had a traditional music performances, putong, moriones festival, and also the art and cratfs. But also we can a teach them the foreigner like “Mano po”so that they show being respecting to elders, and to experience of the other celebration month that we can share with them.By that it will help to promote our culture to encourage them to speak a Filipino words languages. And for our historical events we can tour them in our different cultures and events that they can help and promote to raise the awareness of appreciation of our celebration of National Language and History Month as a student. Ms. Milaya
To appreciate first the meaning of National Language and History Month, I’ve known that the Language Month is a culture celebrated during August specially in our country in which cultures Filipino Cultures we are in with our languages, I have also found out that the (NHCP) National Historical Commission of the Philippines stated to celebrate history month during August, it is called “Buwan ng Wika”. For me to somehow contribute or part take in this celebration is for me to appreciate it, i can be an audience who wants to be informed by watching shows, maybe filipino films since we communication students has subjects specialized for films and I’ll need to take the advantage to appreciate and learn what i see. Also i highly appreciate and love the show they did in the school orientation held on August 5 where Educ students also celebrates “Buwan ng Wika” with their dance performances wearing traditional Filipino clothes and it was amazing. If we in this program get to have a chance for doing activities like it or concerning with celebrating National Language qnd History, i hope to partake and help my possible mates for us to celebrate the event and show people how we appreciate the Language we have, for our work to ensure or apply that we’ve communicated our feelings on it and for us to influence them for everything to be enjoyed. – Mr Ramiro
As a communication enthusiast, I am glad that this month of August we celebrate National Language and History Month. It will be a good opportunity for us, who are communication students, to use our communication skills and the things we learn during our freshman year. We explore how to handle the matter of communicating by avoiding different communication barriers. Regarding that statement, as a communication student, I believe that by using our own voice to use our own language, we can develop a more clear and diverse interaction with Filipinos if we learn to communicate and accept our own language by heart and by flesh. Those voices we have can be present in any media that will allows us to communicate verbally or non-verbally.By using our own voices it will serve as our unity that we Filipinos are truly called “Makata” sa isip sa salita at sa gawa. Besides, this may be a small contribution, but size does not matter. Still, it will create a good impact for us communication students who are still in the phase of learning how to manage our own skills by contributing in any field of communicating. – Mr. Hadap
Throughout National Language and History Month, as a student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, I will be participating in a variety of ways that highlight the value of linguistic and historical literacy in our society. My ability to organize workshops and debates centered on the importance of language as a cultural artifact is one important thing I can offer. In addition to encouraging peers to explore the various languages that enrich our community, I may also urge peers to respect their own linguistic heritage by enabling talks on how language determines identity.
Another way I can participate is by using my communication talents to run social media campaigns to raise awareness of National Language and History Month. These days, social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are effective means of spreading knowledge. It is possible to increase public interest and respect for these subjects by producing interesting content, like infographics or short films, that emphasizes significant historical moments connected to language evolution or features well-known personalities in linguistic history.
To further improve my contributions this month, I may work with neighborhood organizations or schools to create educational activities. These programs could have interactive exercises that teach participants about significant historical moments in the evolution of language, or storytelling sessions that honor indigenous languages. Through the development of a common understanding of our shared heritage, such projects not only strengthen communal relationships but also advance learning.
Finally, as a Communication student, I have the special chance to use seminars, social media outreach, and educational partnerships to make a significant contribution to National Language and History Month. My goal will be to foster a deeper comprehension of our country’s identity, which is based on both language and history. – Mr. Zoleta

Island regimes and governance in Marinduque island, Philippines
Dr. jellian Ricafrente, Sir Ken Palatino, Sir Wilmer Imperio, Dr. Randy Nobleza, Dr Gerald Gutierrez
The intention of the panel is to pursue a provisional Marinduque political history utilizing the existing timelines, geographic location and life stories of the local chief executives in the island as proposed by the late Dr. Homer Montejo. The province had been a part of Batangas, then Tayabas and for a time annexed to Mindoro. The panel members would be discussing the island regimes and governance based on the local chief executives’ demographic profiles: both personal and professional, their significant achievements, likewise the challenges they encountered, even the perceptions of constituents and the resulting biographical notes. Since Marinduque is from three old towns, Boac, Gasan and Santa Cruz. The first established visitas, Monserrat de Marinduque (Boac), San Juan De Marinduque (Santa Cruz) and San Bernardo De Marinduque (Gasan). Eventually, Mogpog separated from Boac with its own civil government and parish which started the tradition of Moryonan. Then, Torrijos became a separate town from Santa Cruz. And Buenavista, the youngest of all the towns in the island is from the town of Gasan. Sir Wilmer would focus on the town of Santa Cruz, as the campus director of the Marinduque State College Santa Cruz branch which was formerly Marinduque Community College. Then Sir Ken Palatino would zero in Torrijos with the recent publication of Reijohn Mediones’ Ang Torrijos – Noon, Kahapon, Ngayon (Torrijos Town – Remote, Recent Past, Today). Dr. Randy Nobleza dwells on Mogpog while Dr. Gerald Gutierrez deals with Boac, the capital town. Finally, the lead researcher takes on both Gasan and Buenavista.
